Our Commitment
The Purchasing Division manages New Haven's centralized purchasing functions, including issuing purchase orders, maintaining vendor information, printing, supplies, and mail services. It also administers all ITBs, RFPs, RFQs, sole source designations, and cooperative procurement consortium approvals for city agencies.

Purchasing upholds the highest standards of integrity in acquiring goods and services, ensuring optimal use of taxpayer resources. Vendors can register for bidding opportunities through our procurement portal, OpenGov Procurement, which streamlines processes and encourages vendor participation.
